Dear Parents/ Guardians,
The Primary 7 children’s final day is Friday June 21st 2024. We intend to have a
Leavers’ Assembly for the children at 945am after which they will then leave school for
the final time.
The next few weeks will be very busy for us all and I want to let you know what is
happening.
The following is a list of dates and information relating to the weeks ahead.
On Friday May 24th 2024 the children will attend the Belfast Activity Centre for their
final school trip. The cost is £29 per child which includes all activities and transport.
The children will have their Leavers’ Mass on Wednesday June 19th at 930am in
Greencastle Church.
We hope as many parents as possible will attend.
We have ordered Leavers’ Hoodies for the children to remind them of their time in our
school. The cost of the Hoodie is £20. Should you wish to purchase a Hoodie for your
child please send in payment as soon as possible.
I urge to please pay the balance for your child’s trip money by May 13th 2024.
Thank you for all your help and support.

Please take care driving into school today. Access is difficult: traffic going city bound as you drive into our school at metropolitan is tricky. You need to slow down as you need to do a sharp right.

Dear Parents and Carers,
As we approach the Easter Break could I ask you to be mindful of your speed when driving vehicles inside and around our school?
Parents are driving too fast in the school grounds and I am very fearful for the safety of our children.
Only parents with:
Primary 1 children.
Children with a medical condition.
Children with mobility issues.
Parents with mobility issues
should be driving up the school lane.
Driving up the school lane when your child is late or it is raining is not permitted.
Please use the Metropolitan Car Park.
There are too many cars in our car park each morning.
Best wishes

Principal.

Dear Parents and Guardians,
Our next Do This in Memory Mass will be celebrated on Saturday March 23rd
2024 at 630pm.
Fr Delargy is keen that anyone who wants to be considered for the Sacrament of First Holy Communion should attend.
This will be a Mass which will mark Palm Sunday and we are asking for a group of children from our school to lead a procession into the church with newly blessed palm leaves.
Best wishes
Gerard Barrett
Principal.
