YEAR 1 2015-2016

Year 1 have been settling in to school, getting used to the routine, learning and playing.

As we are now into the summer term, Year 1 have a lovely school trip to look forward to as well as playing outside in the garden (weather permitting).

YEAR 1 AND 2 TRIP TO THE ARK OPEN FARM

Year 1 and 2 had a fantastic day visiting all the animals at the Ark Farm. The weather stayed dry and they got to hold the little chicks, feed the baby goat and see other animals.......

SPACE - THE FINAL FRONTIER -

Year 1 are taking a trip into outer space - watch this page for all the information.......

They are following the story of "Whatever Next!" - where a Bear goes into space and enjoys a picnic on the moon. Our space explorers enjoyed decorating their picnic blankets, plates and cups!. The journey didn't seem to take too long but they were very hungry when they arrived!

The excitment didn't end there ....... a Space Station was built and a lunar landscape appeared in the water tray....
