Grandparents Day Mass

14th January 2026.

Dear Parents and Carers,

Grandparents’ Mass Wednesday January 28th at 930am.

As part of our initiatives to mark Catholic Schools’ Week we intend to have our annual Grandparents/ Parents/Carers mass.

This will take place on Wednesday January 28th  at 930am in St Mary’s Star of the Sea Church Greencastle.

You are invited to join us afterwards in school for tea and cakes in our school assembly hall. 

Please do your best to attend this wonderful event.

We have many children who are non-Catholic and indeed non- faith but everyone is welcome to share in this event regardless of your chosen faith.

Provision will be made for any child not attending this mass and they should come to school as usual where they will still have access to a normal school day.

If you intend to come up to school after mass, please park in the car park at the bottom of our school hill and entrance as there will not be enough space in the school grounds to facilitate extra cars.
