Dear Parents and Carers,
I am writing to you, to ask, that you park in the Metropolitan Car Park provided for drop offs and collections.
Many parents do this but some continue to park on the street directly outside school or in the residents’ private parking areas.
Some parents still insist on driving up the lane in the mornings to leave their children off.
Doing this puts your children and other children and staff at risk.
We need to use the car park provided.
We need to stop parking in the residents’ private spaces and blocking drive ways.
We need to stop driving up the school lane for drop offs.
We need to stop reversing into residents’ parking areas as we turn away from school.
This small amount of traffic is causing major disruption and anxiety to staff, other parents who obey the guidelines, and children who have been involved in several near miss incidents.
