Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are having a mass for children and families to celebrate the start of a new academic year in our school.
This will take place in St Mary's Star of the Sea Church Greencastle on Wednesday September 17th at 930am for Year 2- Year 7. (Everyone welcome).

In relation to the SEAG 2025 Entrance Assessment. The Registration Period ends at 11.59pm on Friday 19th September 2025. Pupils cannot sit the Entrance Assessment unless a parent / guardian has completed and
submitted a Pupil Application Form. This applies to any Year 7 pupil wishing to sit the test in November.

We will also be sending home information about the curriculum we intend to cover in this academic year. This will be distributed in the week beginning September 22nd.

Homework will also resume in the week commencing September 22nd.

In reference to PE children may bring trainers and track bottoms into school in lieu of shorts and t- shirts.

School will be closed for pupils on Monday September 29th 2025 for staff development training to ensure the successful delivery of our School Development Plan.

School will reopen on Tuesday September 30th as normal.
