Westminster Parliament Visit with Fiona Payne and John Finucane

We were delighted to welcome John Finuncane to our school where he spoke to Year 5-7 about what it is like to be an elected representative and shared his experiences as an MP.

 

The children were very engaged and asked lots of questions about our laws and decision making. Thank you Mr. Finucane for taking the time to visit us and for inspiring our children.

Thank you to Fiona Payne, the senior Education and Engagement Officer from Westminster Parliament, for organising the visit. Fiona spoke to Year 5-7 about democracy and citizenship and shared insightful information about how they can contribute to politics as young people.
