World Book Day at St. Mary’s Star of the Sea 📖📚⭐️💙

The children had a lovely World Book Day with lots of activities to help foster a love of reading. 📚 The children enjoyed going to our beautiful school library and reading stories under the canopy. 🌟 

📚 We had ‘Socks and Stories’ where the children cosied up with a book and a hot chocolate ☕️😌

📚We took part in The Art and Design Factory’s live World Book Day lesson and created art work from ‘The Snail and the Whale’ 🐳 and ‘Charlotte’s’ Web’ 🕸️

📚 Year 1 had a Teddy Bear’s Picnic where they read their favourite book to their teddy 🧸
