  • May Holiday Mid Term

    Please note that school is closed on Monday 2nd and Tuesday 3rd May for the mid-term break.  School reopens on Wednesday 4th May 2016.
  • Year 7 Leavers Play

    There will be a performance of the play "Do you remember" on Friday 3rd June at 1.30pm.  Year 7 are practicing their lines and more information will be available closer to the time.
  • Book Borrowing Year 1 & 2

    Year 1 & 2 pupils will be able to borrow a book to read at home with a parent from our new book case in the entrance hall.  It is available everyday from 8.50am and 2.00pm.  Please borrow as often as you can to help nuture the reading habit in your child.
  • Extended Schools Cluster Programme

    Parent Power Courses - 6 weeks.

     

    As part of our Extended Schools Cluster programme we are offering 3 sets of 6 week parent power courses focusing on:

     

    Course 1 - Young Children -

    Hazelwood Integrated Primary School

    Tuesdays @ 1.30pm - Starting Tuesday 26th April

     

    Course 2 - Parenting Teenagers

    Hazelwood Integrated College

    Thursdays @ 6.00pm - Starting Thursday 28th April

     

    Course 3 - Supporting Parents in maintaining their own mental well-being

    St Mary's Star of the Sea Primary School

    Fridays @1.30pm - Starting Friday 29th April

     

    These courses are being run by a fully qualified Jigsaw Counsellor.

  • Healthy Week

    Healthy Week starts on Monday 25th April and there will be lots of fun activities for the pupils to do and new foods to try!.  Our week finishes on Friday 29th April with our monthly Parents Coffee Morning (with healthy treats!) at 9.00am and Year 1 Assembly at 9.30am.
  • Fr Chandran Visit

    Fri 22 Apr 2016
    We were delighted to have Fr Chandran visit the school this morning.  He talked to children in Assembly and also visited Year 4 to Year 7 classes.  The children were able to present a cheque for £300.00 for his work in India.
