• St Patrick's Day Celebration

  Our annual St Patrick's Day celebration takes place on Friday 15th March 2019 at 1.00pm in the assembly hall. Our pupils can wear green and donate £1.00 to Trocaire.  Parents. grandparents and family members are welcome to come along and join in the fun!  Tea/coffee will be on sale for Fr Chandran's Start Programme.

  School will be closed on Monday 18th March 2019.

• World Book Day - Book Fair Week

  On Friday 8th March we are celebrating World Book Day.  Pupils may come into school dressed as a character from their favourite book and they will get a free book token to spend on a new book.  Our annual Book Fair starts on Monday 11th March in the Parents Room.

• Parenting Primary School Children - The Cavehill Project

  St Mary's Star of the Sea PS as part of the Cavehill Project is running classes on parenting young children on Tuesday nights 6.30-7.30pm for 6 weeks starting on Tuesday 5th March 2019.  Over the 6 weeks topics will include use of social media, gaming, positive self-esteem,building resilience, promoting independence, mindfulness and self-care as a parent.  Jump,Jiggle and Jive will be there to entertain the younger kids so if you are interested in taking part please contact the school office or email slynch453@c2kni.net as soon as possible.
