The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2018 has come into effect. We lawfully collect,store,protect and use necessary pupil personal data for a range of purposes and must comply with this new regulation. Staff will receive the appropriate training and our privacy notice is now available and a copy can be found in the About Us section of the website.
School is closed on Monday 28th and Tuesday 29th May for the late Spring Holiday. School reopens usual time on Wednesday 30th May.
Our next monthly parents coffee morning is being held on Friday 1st June at 9.00am followed by Year 1 Assembly at 9.30am.
Our Sports Day and sponsored Fun Run is being held on Friday 8th June at Loughshore Education Centre starting at 10.00am (If wet we will have the activities in the school playground or hall).
The Cavehill Project (Extended Schools Cluster) invites you to come along to St Mary's Star of the Sea PS for some "Me Time". This will run for 6 weeks starting on Tuesday 15th May at 12.45-1.45pm. All the sessions will be led by Lynne Dornan and will cover topics like managing finances, coping strategies for daily living and blended families. It will finish with a pamper session. This is a good time to meet with other parents from the different schools and spend a little time discussing issues that affect us all.
