March News

As we are nearly at the end of another month of school, its time to look forward to what the month of March is bringing - and there are lots of events!

World Book Day is on Thursday 5th March and we are encouraging our pupils to come in dressed as a character from their favourite book.

 

Friday 6th March is our monthly coffee morning for parents and grandparents starting at 9.00am followed by Year 3 assembly at 9.30am with the theme of Penance.  Year 3 pupils will receive the sacrament of First Penance on Wednesday 11th March at 11.00am in St Mary's Church, Greencastle.

 

Our annual Book Fair Week starts on Monday 9th to Friday 13th March 2020 - each child will receive a book token on World Book day which can be used at the fair.

 

Finally - our St Patrick's Day Celebration is on Friday 13th March at 9.30am - children can wear something green and donate £1.00 towards Trocaire.  Parents, grandparents and family members are most welcome to join us as each class perform a short piece.  Tea/coffee will be on sale in aid of Fr Chandran's Start Programme
