Latest news from our school
24th February 2023
Dear Parents and Guardians, as part of on-going school improvements we will have heavy works traffic on our school grounds for the next four weeks.
This is a potential risk hazard and we have completed a risk assessment in school to ensure the safety of our children.
We also need your help to ensure the safety of our children; therefore, please do not drive up into the school grounds unless absolutely necessary.
Park in the Metropolitan Car Park and walk your child up the hill to school.
I know this is inconvenient for some but this is a temporary measure and improvements to our facilities will make the inconvenience we endure worthwhile.
Best wishes
Gerard Barrett
Principal.

Dear Parent/Guardian,
Unfortunately, a case of head lice has been brought to our attention. This, as you know, can spread quite quickly and we are advising ALL parents to watch for the signs that their child may have been infested i.e., scratching, severe irritation of the scalp. If your child is affected there are treatments available from the chemist. This problem requires ALL parents to check children regularly and to deal with it immediately.
Best wishes
Mr Barrett
Principal
Please see information about World Book Day Thursday 2nd March!
Be friendly to others and give your relationships a boost. This month let's focus on reaching out to connect with others and doing our best to be a good friend.
Our acts of kindness and connection ripple out and impact so many more people than we realise - and they also boost our own happy hormones too!
In stressful times people around us may be feeling the strain, so let's try to keep calm, take time to listen and show compassion.
